HOW YOU'LL MAKE IMPACT

As an experienced iOS Engineer, you’ll build and evolve the Airwallex Mobile App, helping customers access our payment products globally while they’re on the go. You’ll design and implement native iOS applications and libraries in Swift, partnering with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver secure, reliable and maintainable mobile experiences. You’ll contribute across the full product development lifecycle, from defining requirements and technical specifications through to implementation, testing and ongoing improvement. You’ll also help strengthen our architecture, developer experience and engineering practices as Airwallex continues to grow.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essentials

• 5+ years of professional experience developing native iOS applications using Swift.

• Expert knowledge of iOS frameworks and the broader iOS ecosystem.

• Strong understanding of mobile development design patterns.

• Experience working with RESTful APIs.

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise applications and reusable iOS libraries.

• A track record of owning product development end to end, from requirements and technical design through to delivery.

• Experience writing robust, maintainable code with high test coverage.

• Experience maintaining automation pipelines for CI/CD.

• Strong understanding of practices for protecting sensitive customer data and supporting regulatory compliance.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with product, design and engineering stakeholders.

• Fluency in English.

Preferred

• Experience developing for Android or working with native Android technologies.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience working on secure, reliable and developer-friendly financial or payment products.

The Organization & Identity team is responsible for building and evolving Airwallex's core identity and organization foundations, covering user onboarding, authentication and access control through to organization-structure modeling, account-ownership management, and org-level workflow enablement. We continuously strengthen platform availability, scalability, and security so all products can depend on a unified, trusted identity and organization base. Our team owns identity, authN, authZ, and the technical capabilities behind identity verification, and partners closely with Risk, Compliance and Onboarding on broader controls.
